• Please be sure that Virtlab is right for you! We wrote Virtlab for first-year college students and advanced placement high school students. We have kept the price of Virtlab as low as possible, but we do not offer refunds on purchases.
  
  
• Virtlab User IDs are for the sole use of the registered individual. Sharing of user IDs is not permitted and accounts discovered to be in violation of this policy with be closed.

Virtlab respects your privacy. This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting Virtlab, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

What Personal Information About Customers Does Virtlab Gather?

Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way.

Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses Virtlab. Examples of the information we collect and analyze include the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform.

E-mail Communications: We often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from Virtlab if your computer supports such capabilities.

Information from Other Sources: We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.

Does Virtlab Share the Information It Receives?

We are not in the business of selling your information to others. We may, in the future, collaborate with textboox publishers and other vendors to customize Virtlab to specific materials. In such cases we find it helpful (for you and for us) to share information with such publishers. If and when such arrangements are made we will document these arrangements here.

Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other business entities. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, if Virtlab or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

If you choose to visit Virtlab, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of California. Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Notice and the Conditions of Use will change also. We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, unless you have instructed us not to, but you should check our Web site frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
